These co-ordinated programmes are designed to encourage the recruitment of talented, dynamic and more diverse councillors, and help councils to use their councillors more effectively.

Next Generation 2009 now open for applications
One of the most prestigious courses for young, ambitious, politicians from the three main parties. Uniquely, each programme is developed separately within individual parties traditions, by party political experts, creating a bespoke political development opportunity for participants.
