The Leadership Centre is committed to increasing the leadership capacity of local government. Our flagship development programmes support leaders from across the sector to not only improve their skills and personal awareness, but to strengthen networks and relationships across and within authorities.

Helping individuals discover and reach their own potential increases the confidence and reputation of local government as a whole. We at the Leadership Centre believe that officers and members travel together: our Leeds Castle Leadership Programme is uniquely designed for both leaders and chief executives. Up-and-coming councillors have the opportunity to participate in one of our Next Generation programmes, which are run in the party tradition of each of the four LGA political groups.
