Next Generation Labour 2010 - 2011
Applications are now open for the forthcoming Next Generation Programme for Labour councillors. Now in its fifth year the programme, coordinated by Local Government Leadership, has supported a whole range of Labour councillors who are now in leadership positions in local government.
The programme will run over three weekends starting on October 2010 (October 30/3 - London, December 4/5 - London, Jan 22/23 - Manchester) which will focus on political and organisational leadership.
The programme is a demanding one with the opportunity to meet and discuss with senior Labour members in local government and the Shadow Cabinet. As well as the development programme we will also provide a political mentor to support the progress of participants.
All costs, other than travel, will be met by LG Leadership.
