On Friday 21 May, more than 70 councillors, leaders and officers met in Westminster to plan the future of whole-area working for elected members. They heard from speakers including Helen Bailey, Lord Bichard, Cllr David Parsons and Dr Andrew Larner and tackled questions around governance, scrutiny and oversight, and local government’s offer for the next phase of work.
The Leadership Centre for Local Government has produced a video that captures key content and highlights the issues of the day.
